Honestly… who am I to judge anyone — especially their business?!

But I did, and wow, it was not easy. There are so many incredible businesses in the Casey area.

I was a co-judge for Best New Business and Sustainability.

For Best New Business, I judged alongside Gavin from Whisktakers in Lynbrook (they make the yummiest-looking wedding cakes!). For Sustainability, I had the pleasure of judging with Sheehan Financial Planning.

Our first job was visiting some amazing local businesses — Chess Republic, Juicy Chook, and Boutique Hearing Clinic. It was so inspiring to see the passion and hard work behind each one.

The winner of Best New Business was Boutique Hearing Clinic in Endeavour Hills — so well deserved! Although Juicy Chook does have the best chicken in the area!

My winner for Sustainability was Supply Solar — such an impressive business doing great things in the sustainability space.

Then the night came and who knew Bunjil place could look so lovely! the food was wonderful and it was so great to get to know local businesses on a more personal level.

Such a wonderful experience, and I feel very grateful to have been involved.
