Real winery wedding Erin and Mark
Winery Wedding
Erin and Mark met in Primary School but didn’t realise their love for each other until they were almost 30. Mark popped the question with a beautiful custom-made ring at the top of a Ferris Wheel in Fremantle whilst on holidays. Erin decided to be free from stress on her big day, remembering her mantra everything happens for a reason.
The gown.
Before Erin found Leah S Designs she felt disheartened after some less than perfect bridal shopping experiences. Her Bridget gown is from the Perfection Bridal range – a romantic lace gown with off-the- shoulder sleeve. Featuring a figure fitted silhouette called the Bridget – perfect for Erin’s big day at the winery.
The reception
Their simple, rustic winery ceremony hosted 142 guests at Wild Dog Winery. With a rainy start to the day, Erin and her bridal party spent the morning getting ready at her parents house. The only hiccup on the day was a small delay as bridal car broke down. But luckily a good friend was there to save the day. After an averted crisis, the sun came out over the winery just in time for the beautiful ceremony and the day was nothing short of amazing.
Mr and Mrs enjoyed a lovely honeymoon in Hawaii to celebrate their marriage. They flew over volcanoes in a helicopter, ate fresh seafood and enjoyed their once in a lifetime opportunity.
Married life
Erin says married life is much the same as life before. But she gets to call Mark her husband instead of her boyfriend. Which is taking a little getting used to along with the new surname. Erin’s advice for future Brides is, it’s important to be relaxed on the day. Don’t sweat the small stuff and go with the flow because there is nothing worth getting stressed about.
