The perfect amount of time is 4 months or more before your event date. This gives you plenty of time to find your dream dress, place your order, and allow alterations to begin—so everything is ready stress-free for your big day! Of course, if you have less time you are welcome to purchase off the rack in store. We usually have most of our debutante dresses in stock during Debutante season Jan – May.

At Leah S Designs, we provide on-site alterations to ensure that your gown fits you like a dream. Hem shortening and strap adjustments are commonly done, and fittings take place 4 to 5 weeks before your debutante. But don’t forget to bring your shoes for accurate measurements!
