Lights, camera, action and veils

Romantic blooms, soft textures and a collection of giant flowers…

Sometimes I grab my camera and play photographer, but lately I’ve been struggling to capture just how gorgeous my new veil collection really is.

I tried shooting upstairs in the studio at the store, but the flashes kept bouncing off the lace. I took the veils home, hoping natural light would do the trick… but they’re so long they practically took over my lounge room. So there was really only one answer.

Yep. A full-blown photoshoot.

Normally that’s not in the budget — especially for veils — but they’re so beautiful I decided to take the risk. I asked Lena from Lena Lim Photography if she’d help bring the magic, then Vanee from Baby Dolls Make Up, Pearly from Pearly Hairstylist, and our gorgeous model Holly (who you might remember from a past shoot) all came on board.

And honestly? I’m so glad we did it. I finally feel like the beauty of these veils has been captured properly.

I’ve designed this veil collection to perfectly match our wedding dresses, but they also pair beautifully with any satin or crepe gown — even dresses that aren’t designed by me. They complement them so effortlessly, and I can’t wait for you to try them on.

P.S. Yes my lovely lady helpers are available for wedding bookings:
